First Person View: LittleBigPreview

There's some interesting new things going to happen to LittleBigPlanet in the near future, and since I saw some of you are getting the game soon I figured it would be a good thing to make my first blog about.

2000AD costumes
A teaser picture was released a short while ago anouncing and partnership between media molecule and 2000AD comics. It clearly shows Judge dredd costumes are on the table but could this mean other 2000AD character costumes will also be avaliable? These costumes will be released on 28/05/2009.



Monsters
Avaliable today is the mosnsters costume and level creation kit. Four costumes (count sackula, bride of count sackula, Werewolf and Zombie) the four will be avaliable for $2.99. The monsters level kit will include:

4 Ready made pieces : Rotary Saw, Mannequin Head, Mannequin Legs, Mannequin Torso

5 Materials : Orange Fabric, Fish Scales, Reptile Skin, Eggshell, Chesterfield

26 Monster decorations including Witch Nose, Tentacles, Splat, Rusty Nail and much more

96 Monster theme stickers

Horror sounds : A goodly number of suitably grim sounds

Music : ‘Party Ghouls’ (interactive track) 

Background: The Monster Cave!

The monster level kit is priced at $3.99.



The Patch
Final bit of news is about 'The Patch' a new service where you will get to play levels created by 'great personalities' that were given the chance to use the LittleBigPlanet create tools while Media Molecule were at various promotional events. It should be online this Friday.
