I saw benchmarks at Hardware Canucks, it's not too great, definitely not two times the 5870. Just looks like a waste of money.

It's probably ATI's ****ty ass drivers. The specs are a huge increase, so fps should be too. it would be a great investment... if you could fit it in a ******* full tower. IDK what ATI are thinking by making car sized video cards, it doesn't work.

This is NOT an investment, it does not make nor save you money. If you want to save money then wait until it gets cheaper to buy it. If all things you should not buy it if your Computer screen resolution is lower than 1920X1080, for you will not see a difference in games if you were to buy a cheaper older card. Never buy new hardware when there is no software to back it up. I waited for 64bit, i am still waiting for more quad-core support and I am waiting for a realistic day to upgrade my 400 dollar PC + my 1080p LCD screen i bought off of newegg.

So. It's a halfbreed of the 5850 and the 5870?
Kew kew.
Not worth it unless you run a 30" monitor with 2500x----- resolution.
And..
wooooaaaah the gt200 series cards are deadly cheap now. Especially the GTX260c216

It's just nice to see they finally have a card that competes with the GTX295.
But ya, I was thinking about upgrading to the 5870, but I decided I'm just gonna buy a 2nd 9800GTX+ for 150 bucks less. These cards are just too damn expensive lol
