HD5870 got owned... by GTX 260! - Borderlands

holy **** guys! one who's engine favors nvidia! the 5870 just came out...... seems like this whole site is now filled with fanboys. Im not a fanboy, but until nvidia releases fermi, ATi still has the most powerful card on paper. Not to mention the 5870 is dx11. AMD might get destroyed by Intel in terms of performance, but Nvidia does not destroy ATi anymore. This is like when green said his 9800gtx+ got better score in 3dmark than the 4870.

 

I'm pretty sure I said that, then I was told that was incorrect, which it's not. Then after that I was called an Nvidia fanboy, and that I **** on ATi. So pretty much this post is not going so well.

c'mon, this is ridiculous...did ATI made so many people butthurt?
Shame this is the only game where such inferiority is show by the 5XXX series.
Try some standard stuff as Crysis, Hawx or even the new games such as Dirt 2, CoD MWF2 when they come out....

 

Still a bit bad for ati having to "compete" with nvidias old series. haha

 

Still a bit bad that people believe they can measure a card's performance by looking at one benchmark............

In therms of price to performance, there ain't no competition....the HD5850 chews the GTX285 with mustard...the 5870 almost gets the GTX295 which is a double card. 
The Overclocked HD5770 can perform the same as a GTX260 c216 plus the DX11 and eyefinity. 

Borderlands in ATI's are just like Need For Speed: Undercover.....they build a couple bugs so any card other than Nvidia's can't run it propperly.

maybe lol but really its probably enough of a card to last any gamer the next 2+ years. i kinda doubt we are going to be seeing much of anything that really pushes this generation of cards for quite a while.
