Awesome, they finally smacked Intel down for acting like douche bags.
One and a quarter billion is a lot of cheese, but I doubt Intel will be going down over it. Well, I guess they technically ARE going down...on AMD. 

This is the second fine they have received in the past 8 months that is larger than 1 billion dollars. This could be Nvidia's chance to take all the HPC market from them.

Well, that won't happen. However Nvidia is a closer partner of AMD than Intel, despite the fact that that may look like a trust. Anyway I doubt that will happen because AMD doesn't have the capital to buy Nvidia, and Nvidia doesn't have the capital to buy AMD. However if Intel were to lose it's highly competitive market position, that would give Nvidia a chance to overwhelm them.

1.25 billion is quite a lot of money, but Intel should easily get that money back. AMD still has more debt to pay off and if they don't come out with some cpu's that compete fairly with Intel, I don't know if they will last. I know AMD can't die otherwise Intel will be monopoly, but how can they survive? I just hope they can come out with something that could compete with at least i7.

I'm an Intel boy... to be honest, I trust AMD more than Intel, political.

Intel makes awesome CPU's, but beyond that they're a bunch of *****ies.
